Following the 1945 unification, the state entered a dark age of Western-induced treachery and ethnic tribalism. Foreign banks orchestrated hyperinflation to ensure debt-slavery, while puppet political parties turned citizens against each other in violent democratic deadlock. This cycle of ruin continued until the emergence of Dimitri Viktor, whose leadership ended the internal racism and unified the populace under a single national identity.
During World War III, the Balkan State launched the Great Northern March, a massive military surge that redefined the continent. Our divisions swept through Europe, successfully annexing Hungary and Romania while transforming the Carpathian Mountains into an impenetrable wall of steel. This march reached its peak when our elite units entered Berlin alongside the Soviets, dismantling the old Western order and ending the global conflict. Instead of traditional occupation, we implemented "Economic Chains," turning defeated nations into Debt States that fuel our national prosperity to this day.
